Syllabus Week is past us and we are officially saying hello to September.

It’s time to share some upcoming events and activities that will occur on the McNichols Campus.

Go and have some fun playing Cards of Humanity (online edition) on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 5 p.m. Look for the link to the Zoom session.

It’s no secret that quarantine has led to weight gain for many.

University Recreation is hosting a special fall edition of the Detroit Mercy Biggest Loser, version 8.2.

The challenge starts on Sept. 8 and signups will continue until Sept. 14.

Healthy body, healthy mind. Registration for intramural sports end on Thursday, Sept. 10.

For the first time ever, esports leagues will be offered, and you can compete from the comfort of your home.

The Fitness Center is open. Free classes are offered every day with a couple of modifications to keep you engaged and safe.

The library is open in person Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Bookmark Cafe is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Fall Career Fair will be going virtual as well as some other events.

During this semester you can join the virtual career clinic Thursdays, career development workshops and more.

Weekly ongoing programs include mass on Wednesdays at noon and Sundays at 9 p.m. in St. Ignatius Chapel. Virtual meditation is offered each Monday at 7 p.m.

Celebrate Spirit will be celebrated virtually on Sept. 10 at 12:35 pm.
