Arnold D’Ambrosio has been named the university’s vice president for advancement.
D’Ambrosio, a native Detroiter, will be responsible for leading the university’s development, alumni relations and communications programs in order to build awareness of the university and secure the philanthropic resources to sustain and advance UDM’s mission, according to a statement on the university website.
He most recently held the position of vice president for alumni relations and advancement at Northwood University in Midland, Mich., for the past six years. He has served as a development administrator at several health care institutions: Beaumont Foundation at William Beaumont Medical Center in Michigan, Geisenger Health System in Pennsylvania and Glickman Urological Institute at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
D’Ambrosio holds degrees from Gannon University in Erie, Penn., and Madonna University in Michigan.
